Training

Training

Carlisle Beekeepers Association in association with Cumbria Beekeepers and the British Beekeeping Association supports members and prospective members who wish to train in all aspects of beekeeping.

Carlisle Beekeepers Association normally runs a one day Introduction each year, with both practical and theory sessions. This is intended to provide people interested in beekeeping with basic knowledge and live experience of handling bees ,either as a gift, or to gain a little experience if unsure about starting to keep bees. Beginners are also very welcome to attend our regular apiary meetings, where they can gain more experience and meet some interesting beekeepers.
